Dozens of trees and large limbs were brought down across multiple blocks, with several trees falling onto homes. A gas leak was also reported near TF North High School, and widespread power outages have left much of the area without electricity.

Based on the concentrated nature of the damage, it appears possible that a downburst or microburst may have occurred in this localized area. The National Weather Service will likely review the damage to determine the exact cause.

Residents are urged to avoid downed power lines and use caution while cleanup efforts continue.
