Gary Man Shot & Killed Wednesday Police Looking For Suspect Vehicle
Around 8:45PM Wednesday, Gary Police were dispatched to Northlake Methodist Hospital for a male gunshot victim that drove in. The male victim succumbed to his injuries at the hospital a short time later.
Gary Police learned the male was possibly shot in the 3700 block of Madison and a crime scene was found. The Lake County Coroner has identified the male as Jarell Taylor, 29, of Gary.
Lake County Metro Homicide is asking anyone that may have seen a speeding car, subjects running, or shots fired in the distance near 3600-3700 Madison between 8-9PM to contact Detective Fayson at 219-755-3855. The suspect may have been in a Black Cadillac.
