Teen Struck & Killed By Train Overnight Near Dunes
Monday around 10:30pm Gary Police were dispatched to Lake & Miller St for a possible pedestrian hit by a train. On arrival police found a male deceased on the tracks near 5500 E. Dunes Highway.
The Lake County Coroner was dispatched to the scene shortly after identifying the victim as Brandon Zackery, 17, of Gary. The cause of this incident is still pending investigation.
